Your league’s scoring rules change the points awarded for the same stat line. This calculator shows that effect for one game under Standard, Half-PPR, Full PPR, or custom multipliers. Use actual game stats or your own estimates, inspect the breakdown, and compare two players under the same rules.

The Three Scoring Formats and Their Impact on Player Value

Standard scoring (0 pts/reception) was the original fantasy football format. In standard leagues, a receiver who catches 4 passes for 60 yards and no touchdowns earns exactly 6.0 points from yardage alone — the receptions provide no direct bonus. This format favors players who accumulate yardage and touchdowns, while Half-PPR (0.5 pts/reception) and Full PPR (1.0 pts/reception) reward catch volume. That same 4-catch, 60-yard receiver earns 8.0 points in Half-PPR and 10.0 in Full PPR. Because league settings vary, use the comparison view to calculate the same two stat lines under each format instead of assuming a platform default.

Which Player Types Benefit Most from PPR Formats

Receptions add 0 points in Standard, 0.5 in Half-PPR, and 1 in Full PPR under this calculator’s presets. Six catches add 0, 3, or 6 points respectively. Pass-catching running backs, receivers, and tight ends benefit from these reception points. This scoring effect alone does not establish a player’s ranking or future performance.

Compare Weekly Stat Lines Under the Same Rules

Compare actual or estimated weekly stat lines under the same scoring rules. For example, a running back with 105 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, six catches, and 55 receiving yards scores 22 Standard, 25 Half-PPR, or 28 Full PPR points. The six-point difference comes from receptions. Injuries, matchups, roles, and positional eligibility are outside this calculator. Extra league bonuses, return touchdowns, kickers, and defensive scoring are not modeled.
